This afternoon the Rhode Island General Assembly returns for the start of the 2012 legislative session and we can't help but be excited to kick off this election year!
As Iowans take to the caucuses tonight, we're reminded of the power voters hold in our democracy. It's our job to pay attention and hold our elected officials accountable - in the State House and at the polls.
We're gearing up for a big year in 2012 - with the opportunity to grow our grassroots neighborhood organizing teams and continue to advocate for tax justice measures that close corporate tax loopholes, end tax evasion by the super-rich, and bring some sanity back into our income tax structure.
